Decorations on the block facing White Sands

It's August 9th and today we celebrate Singapore's 41st year of independence. I am going to be working as usual. No public holidays for this IT slave! It is definitely gonna be a helluva ride home on the train tonight. Party goers, fireworks watchers, small kids, young teenagers. Lots of loud talking and playing around.

Really getting old, I am easily irritated by chirpy voices and loud conversations. I can just imagine we could have been easily 10 times louder than them when we were young. Sigh, time and tide waits for no man. Happy National Day and enjoy your holiday!
